Bohermeen Half Marathon
The very popular Bohermeen half marathon has seen great success down the years for Donore Harriers runners and this one was no exception with 1328 finishers. A two lap course which finishes at the Bohermeen track and clubhouse, this year we had 12 participants on a pretty windy day so it was tough out there but the ice and snow of the earlier part of the week had receded.. The men’s team had a great win to bring back the Rennicks Cup with Danny O’Sullivan leading the charge followed by Daragh Keegan not far behind. Des Tremble was next and he won the M50 category too. There was only a second separating Didier and Liam. JP O’Hanlon was delighted with his PB, Kevin Odgers wasn’t far outside his and Stephen and Michelle Dawson used this as a tune up for the London marathon. Angela Eustace is getting back into good form with her first half marathon in a while. Well done to all.
