One of the standout features of Donore Harriers is its access to world-class running and training facilities.

The club’s location adjacent to the stunning Phoenix Park provides access to a vast expanse of natural terrain, ideal for distance running and cross-country training. The park is home to trails of varying difficulty, offering members the opportunity to train in a picturesque and challenging environment.

Track and Field Facilities

The club has a 300m all weather training track and provides access to facilities for field events such as shot put, discus, and javelin, ensuring a well-rounded athletic program.

Gymnasium/weights room

A dedicated strength and conditioning area is available for members. This facility includes:

Free weights and resistance machines

Equipment for plyometric and functional training

Space for physiotherapy and rehabilitation exercises

Empty gym with various fitness equipment, including plyometric boxes, weight plates, kettlebells, medicine balls, a whiteboard, and a mirror. The gym has large windows with greenery outside and wooden flooring with colored markers on the floor.
